Resort and Country Club 💲~From ₱7,900.00 per pax 🕘 ~4-5 Hour round of Golf 👯‍♂️~Good for 2 -4 Pax 🙋 ~Private Caddy The Fairways and Blue Water Resort and Country Club is a 5 star facility that spans the whole width of northern Boracay and maintains an excellent 18-hole golf course including beautiful beach and ocean views. It was once only open to members and guests at it’s luxury accommodation but is now accessible to the public. A sample of the prices (Dec. 2024): Green fees: 5000 pesos for 18 holes, golf club rental 800 PHP, golf shoes 300 PHP, used balls 150 PHP, golf cart 1200 PHP or caddy 330 PHP plus tip. Prices are subject to change, so check first! On site is a sho that sells and rents an extensive range of golf equipment. A dress code forbidding cut-offs, sleeveless t-shirts, jeans etc. is strictly enforced. The following golf events are all held at Fairways and Blue Water Resort. Goma Golf Cup: Held in Feb. this tournament was started by the Filipino actor Richard Gomez in 1990. Early participants were mostly Filipino celebrities but now include professional golfers and sponsors include not only some of the biggest national companies but some internationally known names as well. Boracay Invitational Tournament: Usually runs for 8 days starting the beginning of April. As this season is usually windy, it leads to challenging conditions and is intended for top level players by invitation only. It’s purpose is to raise the level of play in the Philippines and participants pay no fees but must finance their accommodation and travel. Corporate Golf Cup in late Feb. and early March for seniors and less serious players on corporate or company teams or clubs. Themes and requirements tend to vary. Caddie Shack Golf Tournament in the second week of September has 2 divisions, one for professionals and one for amateurs. It attracts national players who compete for sizable cash prizes. Chairman’s Gold Cup in mid-November also offers cash prizes in 2 categories, professional and amateur. Fairways Golf Course Description Boracay, voted the Best Overall Island in 2012 by Travel + Leisure Magazine, also holds a world-class golf course on the island. This course is known as Fairways and Bluewater Resort. It was established in 1997, and is been a great place to host International golf competitions because it offers the balance of golf plus sun and relaxation. Some of these competitions include Johnie Walker Tour and Asia Golf Tour.
